1800 NSW RFS (1800 679 737)

The Bush Fire Information Line operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is one method which is used by the NSW Rural Fire Service to provide information to members of the public.
The number goes through an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system which gives callers options for recorded information on:
  • Major Fires,
  • Total Fire Bans,
  • Protecting Your Property,
  • Development Control, and
  • Volunteering.
There is an ability for people to escalate to an Operator if they require further assistance.
